I have wanted to do glitter sessions forever. And this week I finally had my chance. Now you might call me crazy. Why oh why would I want to take photographs where little girls are literally throwing glitter in the air. My question is why wouldn't I? Have you ever seen little girls throw glitter in the air? It's spectacular. It shines, it
floats, it sparkles, it is beautiful. Just like them.
At first we get some apprehension. They look at me like, "Are you sure you want me to do this?" YES! Throw it in the air, spin in circles. twirl and jump. All while being surrounded by gold flecks of light. It's marvelous.
Now with that being said it is a bit messy and there is a bit of clean up involved so I will probably limit these sessions to one time a year. I haven't decided if I should offer one again this year or wait until next year. But whenever I do I hope you decide to partake. If you have a daughter let her sparkle and shine like a handful of glitter being tossed in the air. You won't regret it.
